The Colours of My Soul
If my soul were to be separated into all the different colours that it consists of, it would appear something like this.
The pink in my soul is the kindness and care. The love I have for my friends, family, and everything else that lives in my heart. It's each time that I've smiled at someone or given a compliment. The bright, happy, and bubbly aspect of my personality.
The yellow in me is the confidence that on some days I fake, and that sometimes I find naturally. It's my sense of humour, my warmth, joy and positivity. It's the colour that houses my ability to try to make someone happy and that gives a bit of hope in difficult situations.
Blue is reflected in my soul through the calmness and all the deep emotions that flow as rapidly as tides and waves. The sadness and loneliness I experience, as well as the thoughtfulness and peace. It can feel heavy at times, but it also gifts me a mind full of thoughts and knowledge.
The green in my soul is the growth I've experienced throughout the years, the healing. Everything I have experienced that has led to the person I am today. It also represents the connection to fresh starts and taking on new tasks that challenge me outside my comfort zone.
The purple in me is the creative spark that I express through dancing, writing, or with a lack of skill, crafting. It's what allows me to be able to dance on a stage as people watch on. It's my curiosity about the world, and all my personal beliefs and values that I care so much for. It connects me to my imagination and dreams.
Red is reflected in my soul by the passion and determination I show. My courage to stand up for what I believe is right, the side that seeks justice when necessary. The love I give and receive. It's my energy.
The white in my soul is the honesty and truth. It's the gift to be able to forgive others not to forget their actions when they make a mistake but to choose acceptance over holding onto the pain. It's the part of me that values being genuine and can see clearly to stay true to who I am.
The orange in me is my social energy and liveliness, the spark that becomes present when I'm around people I care about. My excitement for life, and the enthusiasm I show in conversation and toward everyday occurrences. It's motivation, it's the laughs that I share, and it's boldness.
